Also, if you don’t normally eat a high-fiber diet and plan to eat more fruits and vegetables, just be sure to add them slowly to your diet or you may get stomach cramps, diarrhea, and gas.

Since fruits and vegetables are healthier for you than a bag of chips, try to get in the habit of reaching for any type of product, as it will fill you up and not consume unnecessary calories. Maybe leave a bowl of fruit—the fruit you really like—on your kitchen island where it’s in plain sight. Also, try not to buy junk food and replace it with healthier snacks.
