A great way to find unique design ideas is to go to auctions. The community I live in has a good Amish population and they have auctions every year. These are consignment auctions and they have a great selection of crafts, antiques, and equipment. These farm auctions are a great place to search for country style design ideas for your home or cabin.
I have come to realize that there is a lot more variety online when it comes to more modern design ideas and such, but when you are looking for old ideas the internet just doesn’t deliver. The virtual tours used by real estate websites offer the best of the web in terms of having a clear idea of what a room will look like, but it has been difficult to find the particular design that I am looking for.
