The lack of a system that anyone can duplicate to be successful is the biggest challenge for everyone joining a new program. There’s so much to learn and you’re so excited to start making money that you forget you need a plan.
You can’t jump into paid advertising one week and then try Facebook marketing and then start a blog with no training. You end up wasting valuable time and enthusiasm by working uncontrollably.
It’s like you get into a car to go somewhere you don’t know the directions to and you just drive desperately looking for your destination. Sooner or later you will give up and go home and get discouraged.
So we established that you need a plan and a map of what you need to do to be successful. Look at the successful people in your organization and other marketing companies, what are they all doing? Or from the different types of marketing that are doing what interests you and what you can afford.
Pick one and work hard to learn and master it, find a step by step program from successful sellers and stick with it. Use the search engines to educate yourself so you can duplicate what the leaders are doing.
I spent a couple of months, after over a year of failure, learning over and over what the top producers in the MLM and network marketing business were doing. I found that many of them were using blogs and articles to get the traffic needed to generate income.
But not just write, but use authority sites to get more power for what they wrote. And then repurpose your articles with tools to spin them up and distribute them all over the internet to retrieve links. Which in turn made their blogs more authoritative as time went on.
None of this is quick, it definitely takes time for search engines to put all this together. But as your blog gets more and more good content, along with your rotated articles appearing everywhere it ranks. Once you rank on the top pages of Google, Yahoo, and Bing, you’ll be there for years getting consistent traffic to your website, sales page, and making a profit.
Once your rankings are driving traffic to many top pages due to your due diligence in technique at the beginning, you are now on easy street. Now you can work two hours a day and skip days and the money keeps coming in thanks to the work you did smartly a while ago.
This is my long term goal just for fun, $84,000 a month. Sounds great, yeah that’s a little over $1,000,000 a year. I know I’m worth that, so when it happens (and it will) I’ll finally get paid what I’m worth.
Okay, get back to work working on your plan for success and never give up. All it takes is knowledge, application, and time to succeed in marketing.
