Fans of Pokemon Online, rejoice! Shoddy Battle is an interesting arcade-type Pokémon online game that allows you to fight classic Pokémon battles with friends and other people over the Internet. It is very simple to use and learn and will provide some addictive fun for quite some time.

It includes most creature Pokemon and even most powers and abilities as far as I can tell, and you can strategically build teams and combinations of Pokemon to make sure you beat your opponent. However, don’t think this won’t be fun for you older friends!

The game seems to use rules based on RPGs and dice rolls and thus allows for precise and complicated combat and battles with results highly dependent on the creatures and combinations you choose. This means that the game is definitely not just for kids, but can also be enjoyed by adults, who are looking for a quick fix to the game that still requires some thinking.

The best thing about this online pokemon game is that it is coded in Java and therefore can be played on almost any platform, thus making this game available to a much wider audience.

Those of you who want to play with friends can host your own trashy Pokémon battle online server, or you can play on the many servers created by the game designed or by the other players!

Some history for Pokémon newbies! I guess if you’re reading an article about a Pokemon online game, you probably don’t need to read any further!

Pokemon is owned by Nintendo and was created by Satoshi Tajiri around 1995. It was initially released as a Game Boy RPG. In the Pokémon universe, a trainer comes across a wild Pokémon and is able to capture it by throwing an extraordinary tool called a Pok Ball at it. If the Pokémon is unable to escape the Pok Ball, that Pokémon is considered to be owned by that Trainer, and will obey any commands its new master and/or partner (depending on how the trainer treats Pokémon in general) issues to it from that point forward. However, this is only the case as long as the trainer shows enough exposure to control it. If not, the Pokémon will stop receiving commands.
