Venetian Resort Las Vegas Breakfast

The Venetian Resort Las Vegas is one of the bigger hotels in town, with more than 5,000 rooms spread out across two towers, the Palazzo and the Venetian. Its grand commitment to Renaissance Italian design is reflected both inside and out, with frescos, grand columns and an ornate rotunda in every tower. The Venetian Resort Las Vegas pushes the theme even further with a canal-like mall, where you can take gondola rides and see classic Italian song and dance.

The resort also offers some more modern amenities, like chic outdoor pools and renowned theater performances. The rooms are mostly suites with separate living spaces, large windows and Italian marble bathrooms. They’re a bit dated, but still more comfortable than many newer hotels in the city.

For foodies, the hotel offers some of the best restaurants on the Strip, from fine-dining to buffets. For a bite to eat while you’re in your room, the hotel provides an excellent in-room dining menu. Guests can choose from a range of cuisine options, and the portions are massive. There’s also an option for a vegan menu, which is great for those with dietary restrictions. Other standouts include Asian nachos, churro French toast and fried chicken and waffles.

Despite the COVID-19 outbreak, the hotel did a good job of maintaining health and safety standards and letting guests relax in ways that were as close to normal as possible. There were plenty of staffers around to help, and while some attractions were closed (such as the XS nightclub), there weren’t any major issues with accessibility or security.

The Venetian is a true city-in-a-hotel, and it’s easy to spend a whole day exploring the property’s numerous shops, restaurants and attractions. Some of the more popular things to do at the Venetian include taking a gondola ride, strolling through a replica of Saint Mark’s Square and watching one of the six theater shows that play throughout the day. There are also several museums, a large casino and a variety of live music venues.

The Palazzo is the younger sibling of the Venetian, and it was designed around the same kind of Renaissance Italian concept. The hotels are connected by a huge mall that looks exactly like Venice, including a canal with gondolas and an ornate Baroque-style fountain in the center. The Palazzo is a little more upscale than the Venetian, but still has its own unique touches, such as a crystal sculpture of women that’s both modern and inspired by classical sculpture.

The Palazzo is a nice place to stay for couples or families, and it’s a more affordable alternative for those on a tighter budget than the Venetian. It’s also a lot less busy, so it’s more quiet at night. There are also some great shopping opportunities, as the mall is home to top designer boutiques and luxury stores. There’s also a good selection of restaurants, including the upscale Bouchon.
